Principal Investigator - Clinical Trials (Contract)

Integrated Clinical Research Center (ICRC), a leading provider of clinical research services in Atlanta, seeks a highly qualified Principal Investigator (PI) to join our team. As a contract position at your facility, you will be vital in managing clinical trials, ensuring their successful execution, and fostering community collaboration.

Responsibilities

Clinical Expertise:

  • Provide expert guidance throughout the clinical trial process.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with medical professionals and local opinion leaders.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, Patient Engagement).

  • Lead and oversee a team of researchers and clinical staff.

Protocol Execution and Compliance:

  • Ensure successful execution of research protocols according to FDA regulations and GCP guidelines.

  • Evaluate study volunteer eligibility and perform physical exams as needed.

  • Adhere to industry-required training.

Patient Care and Communication:

  • Assess study participant's health through interviews and exams.

  • Communicate clearly with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.

  • Review diagnostic reports and provide clinical direction to the study team.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO in Medicine

  • Owner of a private practice/clinic

  • Proven experience in clinical research, including design and conduct of clinical trials.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of clinical trials, from protocol development to reporting.

  • In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations and GCP guidelines.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely.

  • Prior experience with patient recruitment and retention is preferred.

  • If no experience, must demonstrate a passion and skills for bringing new therapies to a diverse patient population.
